Raised on the Yellowstone caldera, Waylon brings a wealth of local knowledge to the TroutHunter team. Like many a fishing guide, he learned the habits of trout and how to fly fish from his grandpa. Waylon spent many years running his own construction business as well as creating fantastic furniture and household amenities from elk and deer antlers. He decided to put down the hammer and tools full time to pursue his passion for fishing. Rest assured he brings the same creative vision to guiding that he does in his shop. Once the guide season is over, Waylon spends the majority of his Fall on the hunt for elk and deer, both solo and with his wife and two young boys. Waylon is also an avid ice fisher, so if you're in the area, hit him up.
