Ben was born in Nebraska and spent his early years learning to enjoy the outdoors with his father in southern Wyoming. After attending the University of Wyoming, Ben moved to Jackson Hole to continue chasing his passion for fly fishing. For almost two decades he enjoyed guiding on the Snake and Green rivers as well as Yellowstone National Park. In addition, Ben spent three seasons guiding at Villa Maria lodge in Tierra Del Fuego for sea-run brown trout. This experience sparked a quest to travel and fish around the world including Alaska, St. Brandons, Christmas Island, New Zealand, and Cuba. Ben likes to have fun and teach anglers of all ability levels. His experience fly fishing is found to be helpful and his guests come away from the river having gained knowledge about the sport. Ben enjoys time with family and can be seen from time to time floating the river with his daughter, Tessa.
