Travis Smith

Travis Colter Smith has been guiding on the Henry's Fork for twelve years. A day with Travis is marked by many laughs and fish. He is an expert angler and oarsman whose easy going approach to guiding and life has endeared him to his loyal clients. Travis ,a fifth generation Montanan, was raised on the banks of the Ruby River in Sheridan, Montana. He serves on the Pro Staff for Winston Rod Company and has been featured in several fly fishing magazines. He spends his winters in Southern Argentina where he owns and operates Patagonia River Guides.

If you could take anyone fishing, who would it be?  Of course my Dad. He can give me tons of advice in an 8 hour day and is the man. Also, my Mom since she became a flyfisherwoman. I don't get to spend enough time with either of them and being on the water for a day is a great way to bond.
