Travis Rydberg

Travis Rydberg, born and raised in Montana, has over 20 years experience fishing the waters of Yellowstone country. Our finest caster, Travis is a great choice if you desire to refine your angling skills. As an award winning artist, you can be sure that Travis will employ a creative approach in the stalking of selective trout. His patient teaching methods, coupled with his familiarity with river ecology, make a day on the river with Travis a truly engaging learning experience.

Birth place: I was born in Billings, MT in 1977.
College: Montana State University - Bozeman.
Hobbies: Fishing, Drawing, Photography, Design. Spending time outside with those I love.
If you could take anyone fishing, who would it be?  My brother Chad, because there is no better place to spend time than on the water.

Trout rod: Any Winston ever made. Especially the old IM6 - 9' 4wt.
Reel: Ross Evolution.       
Line: Airflow Ridgeline
Place to fish locally: Harriman, The Madison, Hebgen Lake, and YNP when the aspens change.
Place to fish outside of our region: Anywhere that requires the big green suburban and the fellas. You know who you are.
