Marty Reed

Dr. Reed
Formerly known as Marty “The One Man Party”, Dr. Reed is an extremely personable and hard working guide whose enthusiasm for the sport of fly fishing and the area's fisheries is contagious. Whether it is big fish that you're after or advice on medications, be assured that Dr. Reed is the guide that you seek. 2011 will be Dr. Reed’s twelfth season guiding on the Henry's Fork. He spent six winters guiding anglers in Patagonia, Argentina. After mastering the art of piscatology, Dr. Reed studied pharmacology at Idaho State University, one of the top ten pharmacy schools in the nation. He is now a practicing pharmacist as well as a piscatologist, one of our few double doctorates that we have employed as a fishing guide at Trouthunter.
