Spring Training
Appearing at least weekly, April showers of the white variety continue to punctuate a very unusual Spring in the flat land. Navigating the ice ledges continues to add an extra element of excitement to fishing the bank feeders along the edges at Fun Farm but otherwise, access to the lower ‘Fork has greatly improved during this past week.
TroutHunter guides like Pat and Brad seem intent upon making certain the trout are prepared for the onslaught that is certain to come once spring actually arrives. Aided by weekly invasions from Sun Valley led by the notorious Ron Fudge, the attorney and the predator have succeeded in alerting a sizeable percentage of the local browns and rainbows to what lies directly ahead. I’m sure Marty, Travis, and the rest of the TroutHunter guide staff will be grateful to these guys for paving the way into a new season. Who comes to the Henry’s Fork for easy fishing anyway?
